2009 Annual Meeting

The 2009 Annual Meeting of Members was held on May 9, 10 am-2 pm at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. This marks the sixth year that the co-op has hosted the family-style event. Kids let loose in the Energy Zone, where there was a rock wall, Micro Reality Racing, games, prizes, and bucket truck rides AND the Balloon Twister guy and caricature artist. There were also kids electric safety demonstrations and the ever popular Barnyard Express baby farm animal show!

This year we created an entire Energy Area where members learned how to combat rising energy costs with our many programs and Energy Advisor tips and discussed what was holding them back from conserving energy. To promote energy conservation, we served a brown bag lunch. The bag was made from recycled materials and contained a wonderful lunch.
